How to prepare your Photos For Scanning.
It's very simple. Just bring us all your photos , whether they are in boxes, bags, albums or bins.
It doesn't matter.
You can go through it all yourself and organize or edit the photos or let us do the work. Your choice.
Just know that we are here to help make it easier for you.
If organizing yourself,
please ensure that all loose photos are free from any pet hair, tape, staples , sparkles or sticky residue.
Please note that when removing photos from albums, that some magnetic/adhesive albums
may sometimes leave residue on the back of photos.
These cannot run through our automated scanner and will need to be Flat Bed Scanned.
*We reserve the right to refuse photos if we find that they may damage our equipment.*
If you would like us to scan your Photos in a specific order, please arrange them accordingly and label each group with a name, date or number. This is the way they will appear in their respective folders. You can place each group in a Ziploc bag, a shoe box or whatever you find convenient. We charge $2.00 per labelled photo folder.
Any photos that are thick or cardboard mounted, are in bad shape or are delicate may require to be scanned by a flat bed scanner. A $2.50 charge per such photo will apply.
Keep these photos separate from those that will run through our automated scanner.
If you do not have the time to remove photos from albums, we can do it for you.
For Album Removal, we charge $0.15 per photo.
For Album Removal and Replacement of photos back into their original Albums, we charge $0.30 per photo.
For Bulk Album removal a flat fee will apply per album depending on type of album.
If Photos are unable to be removed from older albums or scrapbooks, due to strong adhesive, or you simply want to preserve the albums as is, we can do an In-Album scan. Prices start at $2.50 per page (contact us for details)
All Photos are scanned to USB or Portable hard drive.
You may supply your own or purchase through us.
Uploading To Google Drive or OneDrive is also available.

Don't know how many pictures you have?
A one inch stack of photos is approximately 100 pictures. Therefore if you have a stack of photos that is 5 inches high, you have approximately 500 photos. Photos can be a mix of 2x2 up to 12x17 for our Automated scanning. We can however scan larger photos with our flat bed scanners. On Average, approximately 1000 pictures = 1GB of storage
